CHILDRENS' EXAMS
Time for a check-up
Just as your child's well visit with his or her pediatrician measures milestones, childrens' eyes also ought to checked for visual development. Babies eyes begin to develop as soon as 7 weeks from conception and make many developmental leaps in the first few years! It is recommended children get their first vision and anatomy examination at 6-months, and then again at 3 years and before starting school. These appointments are designed to check for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, lazy or crossed eyes and inherited diseases that otherwise might go unnoticed.
